A Robot attacked a contractor who is working at
a production plant of Volkswagen in Germany, leading his sudden demise. The
Automobile Maker confirmed the unfortunate incident in a statement.
The
incident happened when the the 22-Year-Old Contractor was setting up the
stationary robot. He was grabbed and crushed against a metal plate by the Robot
which was programmed to perform various tasks including the assembling of
automobiles. Even though another contractor was present at the spot when this
occured, He remained unhurt.
Initial
Reports say, A Human Error is the cause of accident and Robot isn't at fault.
Prosecutors
are looking into option if they could press charges against the German Automobile
Maker, Volkswagen.
