Chiru’s darling to romance Eega Sudeep?

For Telugu audiences, actress Shamili is more than one film heroine in Telugu films. She did a lot of important roles as child artist in Telugu and Tamil which gave her a star child artist status luring producers to make films with the kid playing the lead role.

For contemporary audience, Shamili might be the ‘Oye’ girl but for yesteryear cine goers she is Chiru’s darling kid who mesmerised audiences with her cute words calling Chiranjeevi ‘Raju’ in ‘Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari’. For quite some this child actress turned heroine isn’t seen in films.

The latest info on Shamili is, Kannada movie makers approached her to play heroine in Eega Sudeep’s upcoming bilingual in Tamil and Kannada. Though there is no official confirmation yet from Shamili, as this would be Sudeep’s first lead role in a Tamil film, Shamili would be a known face in Kollywood.
