H Barai who hails from Visakhapatnam has placed
an order for Microsoft Lumia 640 on Amazon official website on June 12th this
year. He received the package within 2 days (June 14th) but much to his shock
all he found in it was stones and thermocol pieces.
The
delivery boy has left the place by the H Barai opened the package. When he
lodged a complaint with Amazon immediately, The Company forwarded him an SMS
assuring it is conducting an enquiry into the issue and will get back to him
soon after it ended.
Few days
ago, Similar incident was been reported in Telangana. Chiluveri Srucharan, a
native of Jagitial, booked a smart phone on Flipkart and received Mangoes in
return.
These
kind of incidents have been happening across the Country. Consumers have to
wait for several days to either receive a replacement or get refund in such
cases. E-Commerce Companies are yet to find a permanent solution for this
problem.
