Going by the pre-climax of Puri Jagan’s latest
movie “Jyothi Lakshmi”, everyone gets reminded by the whole incident of actress
Swetha Basu Prasad getting arrested by police and sent to rehabilitation centre
on charges of prostitution.
In Jyothi
Lakshmi, the main point that revolves in the climax is, if a girl is nabbed by
police from a five-star hotel, why is her name publicised but not the person
who booked her? Charmi asks why the names of businessmen or industrialists
involved in the scam doesn't come out.
Same is
the argument put by Swetha Basu Prasad’s lawyers in her case. As police failed
to reveal the name of the businessman who booked Swetha, the case got struck
off. Seems like Puri derived his story from her.
