Chamee’s ‘Jyothilakshmi’ going to be remade in
Hindi is certainly big news for the actress turned producer. Though she doesn’t
divulge into details, Charmee is pretty excited on that. However something is
pinning her down these days. A lot is being written about Charmee’s
relationship with her director Puri Jagannadh.
Rumours on Charmee’s alleged affair with
the director and her apparent interference in his projects are surfacing every
day since the duo started working for ‘Jyothilakshmi’, Charmee’s debut
production venture. After Nithin walked out of Puri’s project, the blame went
to Charmee’s interference.
Speaking on the rumours, Charmee opines
that male chauvinists in the industry are unable to bear to see her handliing
production side successfully and hence spreading rumours on her relationship
with Puri. It’s work related to attend parties and spend time with her director
and co-producer C.Kalyan says Charmee.
In fact, the entire blame can’t go to
gossipmongers as one can see how hyper Charmee was during the audio launch
event of ‘Jyothilakshmi’. It seemed a bit too overboard when she praised Puri
and felicitated him. However in this glamour world, any closeness whether
related to work or personal isn’t going to go unnoticed. If Charmee maintains
they are good friends, then let it be so.
