Dabangg 2 actress caught in Goa prostitution ?

Goa Police have reportedly caught a Bollywood starlet red-handed in a prostitution racket being run at a hotel in the Indian state’s capital Panaji. The actress, who the police say they have ‘rescued’, claims to have acted in a small role in Salman Khan‘s movie Dabangg 2 as also the Akshay Kumar movie OMG! Oh My God. Although the actress’ name has been withheld, the police have named the pimp as one Ayesha Sayyed from Mumbai. This operation was carried out with the help of police informers.

The police conducted a raid at around 3.30 pm at the Goa hotel when they received a tip-off about the actress and the pimp being present at the venue. The cops reportedly found the actress in a compromising position. Ayesha Sayyed the pimp has been arrested under Section 4, 5, 7 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956. The actress was not arrested and further investigations are on. She reportedly said in a statement that she was involved in prostitution for “financial stability”.

This is not the first time that Bollywood or other cinema actresses have been caught in prostitution rackets. There have been several such cases earlier – the most prominent recent case was that ofShweta Prasad Basu. The former child star, who now acts in Telugu cinema as Shwetha Basu, was caught red-handed along with some businessmen in a hotel in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad on August 31.
